Set in a small hamlet in rural Brittany only 30 mins from St Malo ferry port, this biker friendly b & b offers delightful accommodation, home cooking and secure garaging and workshop facilities for bikes, but you don't of course have to be on a motorbike to stay with us. It makes an ideal base for touring Brittany or further journeys into France and beyond.

When possible, fresh vegetables from the garden will be used. A three course home cooked dinner including wine and coffee is 20 euros per person. Special dietary needs can be catered for if notified in advance.breakfast A continental breakfast (included in your room rate) is served in the lounge/dining room. Should you require a full english breakfast, this is available at an extra charge of 7 euros per person and needs to be reserved the evening before.guest lounge/dining area/libraryOur guests will have the use of their own large and very comfortable lounge, with a log burner for cooler evenings which is really cosy! There is a large television with UK channels - if you want to bring your own sky card for any paid channels, feel free. There is also a DVD player and a selection of DVD's. We have a library with a desk that you are welcome to use. Evening meals and breakfasts are served in the lounge, unless it's warm enough to eat out on the terrace - which ever you prefer.garaging/workshop for bikesWe have converted the old dairy (immediately opposite the house) to a secure lock up garage/workshop where bikes and kit can be safely stored in the dry. We also have a large secure barn that can accommodate several more bikes if needed.luggage storageThere is ample room in the hall to store any panniers, boots etc should you wish to.airport pickup serviceYou may well laugh, but we have two airports only 40 minutes from us (Dinard and Rennes), served by either Ryanair or Flybe and Channel Island flights. Yes you will need transport once you are here, but perhaps you have a wife or partner who would prefer not to do the cross channel ferry trip on your bike - they can take the easy route and we will pick them up and deliver them back to the airport for you. The cost for this is 19 euros each trip.what we do not offer!Unfortunately we are not able to accept pets or children.This is a no smoking premises, although permitted in the garden,at no time will it be allowed indoors as there is too much of a fire risk with all the old oak beams etc.

ABOUT US about usWe purchased the house back in 1991, primarily as a holiday home, never dreaming that one day we would live here permenantly. Time went by and year after year we managed to do a bit to the house in our holidays and in between touring europe on the bikes.In the year 2000 we had the opportunity to come to France to live and work. We were offered a job at a chateau in the Loire Valley as caretakers, something completely different to what we had been used to. It was a breath of fresh air and we happily lived and worked at the chateau for 6 years. We then decided we would like to move 'home' to Trebeslin (having sold up in UK this was our only house!). So we then had the builders in to start the major renovations - we've now finally finished and are looking forward to sharing our home with like minded people.Motorcycling has always been a large part of our lives, travelling extensively in europe and both of us competing in long distance trials in the UK when we lived there (the only thing we miss from UK!). We both still enjoy our motorcycling, Les currently riding a Suzuki V-strom 650 and Kim a BMW F650GS and a couple of 250 off-roaders for a bit of green laning when we get the time!Another passion of Kim's is the garden, so finally, after all these years and the last of the diggers and trucks have been in, we've been able to create a garden from the wilderness and Kim is more often than not found digging and pottering in the garden whilst Les is tinkering in the garage!We have lots of information to share with you about local places to visit, longer trips if you feel more adventurous or are en-route to an area we've been to. We really look forward to sharing our home with you.

At the top of the slip road, turn towards Trimer (not St Domineuc) and you will find us 1 km from this junction in a small dip on the lefthand side.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO What to do and seeIntroductionBrittany with it's beautiful coastline and quiet country roads is a paradise for motorcyclists. Those with a liking for seafood will find numerous little restaurants in such places as St Malo and Cancale, famed for it's oysters and mussels.Wherever you go you will find that motorcyclists are made very welcome with none of the discrimination so often found in UK nowadays. If you are lucky enough you may well find that your visit coincides with one of the many ride outs or balades, which frequently take place and often attract up to 200 riders. The largest such event is undoubtedly the annual Madonna des Motards which takes place every year on August 15th and is attended by up to 20,000 riders from all over europe.If you need the services of a main motorcycle dealer during your visit, Rennes has main dealers for all the major manufacturers including Honda, BMW, Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Yamaha and Moto Guzzi.We are members of a bike club catering for British bikers here in Brittany, and should your visit coincide with one of our many summer runs you would be more than welcome to join us.Porcaro - 1 hour Home of the Madonna des Motards rally which is held every year on August 15th and attracts up to 20,000 riders. There is even a little chapel there dedicated to motor cyclistsCombourg - 15 minsTypical Breton town with a large chateau overlooking a placid lake. Has its own street market every Monday.Dinan - 20 minsStunning medieval town with a wealth of half timbered buildings and a 15th century castle. It's worth taking a walk down the steep cobbled streets to the Port de Dinan on the river Rance.St Malo - 30 minsBeautiful walled town where one can walk around the ramparts taking in the wonderful sea views. Many restaurants and cafes nestle in the narrow streets. From here you can take the short ferry crossing to Dinard or even take a day trip by high speed catamaran to Jersey.Rennes - 30 minsThe administrive capital of the province, Rennes is not at all what it seems to be at first glance. Going into the centre of the old city will show a wealth of half timbered buildings, beautiful gardens and many little brasseries. It even has its own Metro system.Mont St Michel - 40 minsThis world heritage site is famous for it magnificent abbey perched on the top of a granite islet reached by a short causeway from the mainland. The views from the top are well worth the walk through steep narrow streets.Le Mans - 2 hoursHome of the 24 hours car race and the French Moto GP, there is a fascinating museum at the circuit well worth a visit on its own.D-day Landing Beaches Normandy - 2 hoursToo many sites to list individually, but Pointe du Hoc, Pegasus Bridge, D-Day museum at St Mere Eglise and the huge American Cemetary at Omaha Beach,, are not to be missed.
