Meals
Are usually served in the lounge or on the sun terrace if the weather permits. We have been known to do garage dinners for 'special' occasions!
Breakfast
Continental breakfast - included in your room rate and consists of:
Fresh croissants and baguette from our local baker, selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice, fresh fruit, home made jams, tea or coffee.
Evening meals - 29 euros
Evening meals are available on request, either at the time of booking or the evening before.
A traditional Kir Royale served with canapes is followed by a home cooked 3 course dinner guaranteed to satisfy the heartiest appetite.
Wine and coffee are, of course, included.
Whenever possible, fresh vegetables from the garden will be used.
Special dietary needs can be catered for if notified in advance.
Garaging and looking after your bike
We think that your motorcycle deserves to be looked after as well, so we have converted the old dairy (immediately opposite the house) to a secure lock up garage/workshop where bikes can be safely stored in comfort and dry. We also have a large secure barn that can accommodate several more bikes if needed.
There is a good selection of tools etc available for your use as well as a compressor, bike washing facilities, bike dryer and a hydraulic bike lift or paddock stand. So we're pretty well equipped for those minor repairs and maintenance jobs.
Should you require the services of a main dealer, in Rennes (about 30 minutes away) we have, BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Triumph and Moto Guzzi. There is also a large Harley Davidson dealer just 15 minutes away from us.
Bike Recovery
Should you be unfortunate enough to have problems out on the road, we can also offer a local recovery service with our purpose built bike trailer.
Drying facilities
Should you be unfortunate enough to encounter wet weather whilst you are out or on your way here, we are usually able to dry wet kit ready for the next day.
Wifi
Free Wifi is available throughout the lounge, library and all bedrooms.
Guest lounge/dining area/library
Our guests will have the use of their own large and very comfortable lounge, with a log burner for cooler evenings which is really cosy! There is a large television with UK channels - if you want to bring your own sky card for any paid channels, feel free. There is also a DVD player and a selection of DVD's.
We have a library with a selection of maps, guides etc and a desk that you are welcome to use.
Evening meals and breakfasts are served in the lounge, unless it's warm enough to eat out on the terrace - which ever you prefer.
Airport pickup service
We have two local airports only 40 minutes from us (Dinard and Rennes), served by either Ryanair or Flybe and Channel Island flights. Yes you will need transport once you are here, but perhaps you have a wife or partner who would prefer not to do the cross channel ferry trip on your bike - they can take the easy route and we will pick them up and deliver them back to the airport for you. The cost for this is 22 euros each trip.
What we do not offer!
Unfortunately we are not able to accept pets or children.
The house and outbuildings are strictly no smoking areas, but please feel free to smoke in the garden if you wish - ashtrays are provided.
We do not have the facility to accept payment by card.
